The eMAR and care platform built for Saskatchewan personal care homes
MapSorix Care replaces binders and spreadsheets with one simple system made for tablets: medication passes, vital signs, care notes and care plans, even when the internet drops. Built in Saskatoon, hosted in Canada, and built around Saskatchewan’s health privacy law and care home regulations.
Why homes choose MapSorix Care
Made for Saskatchewan personal care homes, by a Saskatoon company, with your residents’ privacy built in from the start.
Built for HIPA
Your home stays the trustee of its residents’ information, as Saskatchewan’s health privacy law expects. We handle it on your behalf under a written service-provider agreement with each home, and use it for nothing else.
Built in Saskatoon, hosted in Canada
MapSorix Care is made by MapSorix Innovations Inc. in Saskatoon. Resident records are stored in data centres in Montréal, encrypted in storage and in transit. What is stored where
Ready for Ministry inspections
Built around Saskatchewan’s Personal Care Homes Regulations. Print a day’s medication record, an incident report, a staff credentials sheet or the kitchen’s diet sheet when an inspector asks.
You control our access
We can’t open your records in MapSorix Care unless your administrator lets us in, for 1, 4 or 24 hours. You can end it at any time, and every screen we open goes in your own audit trail. How our access works
Nothing quietly changed
Doses, vital signs and incident reports are never edited or deleted. Corrections sit beside the original with a name and a reason, an edited note keeps its earlier version, and a tamper-evident log shows who did what.
Keeps working offline
Rural internet drops. Care aides keep charting on the tablet, and entries catch up when the connection returns. A printable daily record is your paper backup.
Your records stay yours
Download any resident’s whole record, or every resident’s at once, whenever you like, at no cost. We never delete them because of a missed payment. When you stop using MapSorix Care your staff keep read-only access for 30 days, free, to download them, and the Records Archive keeps them readable after that, for $19 a month (CAD).
Made for care aides
Big buttons for gloved hands, plain words instead of jargon, and each person’s own PIN on a shared tablet, so every dose is signed by whoever gave it.
One simple price
From $14 per licensed bed a month, with setup, training and support included. No setup fee, no long-term contract, and support by phone and email in Saskatchewan business hours. See pricing
Replace the binders
Handwriting that is hard to read, MAR sheets that go missing, and a scramble before every inspection. Here is the difference on day one.
The paper routine
- Handwriting that is hard to read, and missed initials during a busy medication pass
- Risk of a double dose when an as-needed dose isn’t passed on between shifts
- A scramble to find binder pages before a Ministry inspection
- Hours copying resident information and rewriting MAR sheets every month
With MapSorix Care
- Every dose timestamped and signed with the care aide’s own PIN
- Due and missed doses flagged, an as-needed dose stopped when it’s too soon after the last one, and allergies shown at every dose
- Records an inspector asks for, printed when you need them, with the full history behind them
- Each day’s medications come from the resident’s orders, with no sheets to rewrite

Health information treated like health information
Your residents’ records are some of the most private information there is. Security was the first thing we built, not the last.
