One price per bed. Everything included.
MapSorix Care starts at $14 per licensed bed a month, and the rate falls as your home grows. Setup, training, support, hosting in Canada and updates are included. No setup fee and no long-term contract.
What it costs
Priced by the number of licensed beds on your personal care home licence.
$14 per licensed bed, per month — less as you grow
Paying yearly costs less per bed again. Homes under 8 beds are billed for 8.
| Licensed beds | Monthly | Yearly |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 20 | $14 | $144 |
| 21 to 50 | $12 | $124 |
| 51 to 100 | $10 | $104 |
| Over 100 in one home | Ask us for a quote | |
Each band applies only to the beds in it, the way income tax works: your 21st bed costs $12 a month while your first 20 still cost $14. Your bill always goes up when you add a bed, never down.

Getting started
A nurse at your home adds the medication orders, usually by scanning your pharmacy’s list into MapSorix Care, and checks and approves each one before the first medication pass. MapSorix staff never enter or approve medication orders.
Paying
Questions about pricing
When am I charged?
Your first payment is taken by card when you buy, for the month or the year you choose, and each payment after that at the start of the next one. You get every feature, up to 20 shared tablets, setup and staff training from the first day. MapSorix Care reminds you before each payment, and we email you 30 days before a yearly renewal. To see it before you buy, book a demo.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. Cancel any time in Settings: your subscription ends at the end of the month you’ve paid for, or at the end of the paid year if you pay yearly. You aren’t charged again after that, and the period you’ve already paid for isn’t refunded.
Does it renew by itself?
Yes. Your subscription renews automatically — monthly or yearly — so your home is never locked out by a forgotten payment. Settings shows your administrator a reminder before each payment, and we email you 30 days before a yearly renewal. To cancel, open Settings, then Plan and billing, then Payment details and invoices. If we set up your home for you rather than you buying online, email care@mapsorix.com to cancel.
Do we need special tablets or hardware?
No proprietary hardware is required. MapSorix Care runs smoothly in modern web browsers on standard care tablets your home already uses or purchases from local retailers, as well as office desktop computers and laptops.
How does MapSorix Care help during a Ministry inspection?
The records an inspector usually asks for are ready to print. When an inspector from the Ministry of Health visits, an administrator can print the inspection binder (residents, staff, incidents, medication administration and staff hours for the last 7, 14 or 30 days), a day’s medication administration record, a resident’s vital signs, the kitchen’s diet sheet, incident reports or the staff credentials sheet.
What’s included in support?
Phone and email help, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Saskatchewan time, with a reply within one business day. Help with adding staff, tablets and medication orders. More training after you go live is $75 an hour.
What do extra training and visits cost?
Ask in MapSorix Care, under Settings. We send a quote with one total and book the date once it’s paid, by card online or by Interac e-Transfer to accounts@mapsorix.com. A quote is open for 14 days.
- More online training: $75 an hour
- Training a new administrator: $150
- An on-site setup and training day: $600 within 50 km of Saskatoon. Further away, Regina included, the quote adds mileage, travel time at $75 an hour and any hotel, as one total.
- A payroll export in a new format: $300
- Features built just for your home, and support outside business hours: quoted
Prices are before GST and PST. To move a booking, tell us at least 48 hours before; with less notice you can move it once at no charge, and after that the fee is kept.
What counts as a bed?
The number of beds on your personal care home licence, not how many residents you have this month. Your price doesn’t change when a room is empty.
What if a payment is missed?
MapSorix Care becomes read-only straight away: your staff can still view and print every record and download reports, but nothing new can be recorded. We email you, and paying brings everything back at once. Read-only lasts 90 days for all your staff; after that sign-in closes, and your records are kept safely until you pay or move to the Records Archive. Records are never deleted for a missed payment.
What if I cancel?
Your records belong to you. You can download any resident’s whole record, or every resident’s at once, at any time, free. After cancelling, your staff keep read-only access for 30 days, free, to download what you need; after that sign-in closes, and your records are kept safely. Personal care homes must keep records for years after a resident leaves, so we offer a Records Archive for $19 a month: read-only access for all your staff for as long as you need it. Rather than cancelling, an administrator can move the home to the Records Archive in Settings, under Plan and billing. If your subscription has already ended, email care@mapsorix.com and we will set it up.
What if my home grows?
An administrator changes the number of beds in Settings. You pay only the difference for the rest of your billing period, and the new beds start as soon as that payment goes through. MapSorix Care will not let you admit more current residents than the beds you pay for, so it asks you to add beds first. Lowering your beds credits the unused amount to your next invoice. If we set up your home for you rather than you buying online, email care@mapsorix.com to change your beds.
Is there a minimum?
Yes. Every home is billed for at least 8 beds, so a very small home pays $112 a month or $1,152 a year. Above 8 beds you pay for exactly what is on your licence.
How do the bands work?
Each band applies only to the beds in it, the way income tax works. A 30-bed home pays $14 each for its first 20 beds and $12 each for the next 10 — $400 a month, which works out at $13.33 a bed. Adding a bed always costs a little more, never less.
I run more than one home. Can I buy them together?
Yes, and it is cheaper. Add every home when you buy: they share one invoice, and the bands apply to all your beds added up, so three 15-bed homes reach the second band that a single 15-bed home would not. Each home still keeps its own records, its own home code and its own staff, because each licensed home is responsible for its own residents’ records.
Are there offers for early homes?
Yes. The first 10 operators can buy a founding licence instead of a subscription: $5,500 once, plus applicable taxes and paid in two parts, for up to 30 licensed beds across all your homes, with no annual fee for those beds. Beds over 30 are billed at the standard bands. 10 of 10 are left; everything it covers and what costs extra is set out on this page.
