Clocking in

1. Sign in. See Signing in on a care tablet.
2. On the Today screen, MapSorix Care asks Clock in now? Tap Clock in.

If you tap Not now, a line stays at the top of every screen with a Clock in button, until you do. MapSorix Care only asks on the Today screen, never over another screen while you are working.

On a shared tablet, only clock yourself in. Anyone else starting a shift signs in with their own PIN.

Clocking out

From 15 minutes before your shift ends, MapSorix Care reminds you. Choose:

• Clock out and sign out, when you have finished and handed over. On a tablet, this returns it to the PIN screen for the next person.
• Clock out, to stop your hours but stay signed in.
• Not now, to be reminded again in 20 minutes. The reminder comes up to 3 times.

You can also clock out at any time from the Clock out button on the Today screen, or from Time clock in the menu.

The location check

If your home turns it on, clocking in or out on a phone or an office computer asks for your location, and you must be at the home. Only your distance from the home is saved, never where you are at any other time. Care tablets skip this check.

If you forget, or a time is wrong

• If you are still clocked in 14 hours after clocking in, MapSorix Care flags a missed clock-out for your administrator.
• A shift left open for more than 16 hours can only be closed by an administrator.
• If a time is wrong, tell an administrator. They fix it with a reason, and your original entry is kept.
• Time clock in the menu shows your last 2 weeks of shifts.
